When you practice self-care, you have the opportunity to recalibrate your mind and body so you can make better decisions in life. Self-care allows you to give yourself a little TLC and maintain a healthy relationship with yourself. It is proven that self-care decreases anxiety, depression, exhaustion, lack of motivation, and self-esteem.
Different types of self care?
Physical self-care
Physical self-care is all about nourishing your body, staying hydrated, exercising, and getting enough sleep. Most of the time, our schedule gets busy and we often neglect physical self-care. Getting adequate sleep will allow you to give your body time to heal and repair itself. Feeling well-rested will reduce stress and increase your ability to make better decisions. Moreover, physical daily movement and eating healthy can help boost your immune system, burn calories, and increase self-confidence. Taking time to feed your body with nutrients and staying hydrated is a vital way to fuel your body. Physical self-care also include putting time and energy into your physical appearance. Be sure to use your favorite beauty products and honor the beautiful skin, hair, and body you have. Physical self-care will help you improve your overall health and self-esteem.

Emotional Self-Care
Emotional self-care is setting clear boundaries for yourself and prioritizing your mental health. Self-love is the best love. It's simply taking love, attention, joy, forgiveness, and acceptance that you give to others and turning it inward. Self- love can be learned and is the ultimate form of self-care. When you learn how to love yourself, it is easier to attract love into your life. You will set clear boundaries because you know your worth and you will discover who you really are. When you enforce your boundaries which comes from self-love and self-respect, you will be able to protect your peace at all cost and achieve emotional stability. Never put your feelings and emotions to the side to accommodate someone else's, you deserve to be respected and heard. If someone truly respects you, they will understand. At the end of the day, we are human and should be able to freely express our emotions. So, how do you learn self-love? First, you discover your boundaries, meditate daily along with saying positive affirmations, and find things that you love about yourself. An affirmation allows you to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts. When you implement positive affirmations, you train your mind to choose positive over negative. Meditation practice will help you stay grounded, reprogram, and clear your mind so you can make better decisions.
